Cegeka has an exciting opportunity for a Java Developer to join us in Bucharest.

Responsibilities:  

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
• Develop by producing clean, efficient code.
• Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies
• Responsible for Java development, coding, testing and debugging new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity.
• Builds technical documentation in Confluence for the assigned developments
• Offers support for the operations teams, testers and analysts
• Reports the task status in JIRA and update the effort + remaining time.
• Techonologies and frameworks : Microservice architecture, Apache Kafka, Spring Boot, Java, Redis, Oracle DB

Requirements:

• Previous experience Java   Springboot
• Modeling experience using Domain Driven Design techniques.
• Building REST APIs  + modelling using Spring MVC.
• Persistency: Hibernate/JPA + Postgres.
• Unit testing experience using one of the popular JS frameworks: Junit, Mockito.
• Continuous Integration for frontend (Teamcity or Jenkins).
• Git + Git flow user.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice to have:

• Good command of SOLID principles + Clean Code.
• Good command of REST principles and si microservices (modelling, security, high availability).
• Previous work experience with Agile (Scrum) projects is considered a semnificative plus.
• 4 years hands on experience with large Java projects.
