You will be developing a product that air traffic controllers use to generate radio broadcasts for the airport, control the runway, monitor the navigational aids and the weather data around the airport.
The technologies used are:
- Java 8 for software development
- Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Crucible) for bug tracking, sprint management, documentation and code review activities
- Subversion, Git for source control
- Jama for requirements management
- Jenkins for continuous integration
- Sonar and Coverity for static code analysis
The smartTOOLS product is one of the products that will be integrated with a brand-new best in class microservices platform.
Your tasks
Integrated in a multi-functional development team working in accordance with agile practices, you will be responsible for:
- Develop products in the Air Traffic Management domain, while following internal coding and design standards
- Support in migrating the product towards an in-house platform based on microservices architecture
- Support for the QA in testing and developing the automated system tests
- Writing documentation and requirements
Your profile:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development with a main focus on Java
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented design and principles
- Experience with SOA and microservices is an advantage
- Good English skills (both written and spoken)
