Java Developer with DevOps skills

Position overview

We are looking for a Java Developer with DevOps skills to join our team in a challenging project, in biometrics and cybersecurity field. The project is new and involves Java development tasks and also DevOps activities.

Tech stack: Java7+, JPA/Hibernate, SQL, REST, Web Services, Python/Unix Bash scripting, Maven, Docker, Jenkins/Hudson/Nexus, JBoss, Tomcat

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Java development;
• Proficiency and proven work experience with the following technologies: Unix bash scripting, Maven, Docker, Jenkins/Hudson/Nexus;
• Good knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery concepts and best practices;
• Academic degree in the area of computer science, computer engineering, or other related domain;
• Strong attention to details;
• Outstanding analytical skills;
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies;
• Fluent spoken and written English;
• Ability to understand technical documentation written in French and willingness to improve French language skills (we offer two French classes per week;
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within distributed team composed of people from multiple countries.
