Java Enterprise Developer

Based in Cluj-Napoca, PitechPlus has been working with international clients and agencies for the last 10 years. We have worked with local agencies, senior digital teams and stakeholders from many different areas of business. With offices in Paris, Berlin, Lyon, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Targu-Mures, our Innovation Lab also creates customer experiences in mobile apps, games.

We are searching for you: Java developer who has experience in designing, developing and delivering modern applications and can help us have an impact.

Here's what we expect you to bring:

• Hands-on development and delivery experience with Java enterprise related technologies (at least Spring and/or Java EE technology stacks);
• Good command of the Java language and SQL;
• Problem solving and analytical skills;
• Great OOP skills, including design patterns knowledge and enterprise integration;
• Experience working with CI/CD, TDD, Infrastructure as Code concepts;
• Great coding and code review skills. Can debate about topics such as: DDD, Clean Code, Encapsulation, Refactoring, etc.;
• Passion and desire to grow - you’re in charge of your own career;
• Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics degree or equivalent experience in writing enterprise software products.

We would definitely appreciate the following extra topics:

• Experience and ability to jump right-in projects based on Akka, Websockets, WebRTC, Cloud Computing - GCE/AWS;
• Successful leading a team of developers and delivery of a project/product from initial conception to production;
• You keep an eye on latest technology trends and are able to create small PoC(s) using them;
• Good client interaction skills and experience with software consultancy.
