Java Full-Stack Developer

You’ll be part of an enthusiastic and dynamic team and work on Axway Ai Suite Studio project, that enables large players in the financial industry to manage and control the data flows.

The team is mature, supportive and well-performing, we need a colleague to join us and be part of the team.

The project is present in the industry for more than three decades, but constantly evolving. It is a design tool for other runtime applications, very complex as it is highly configurable.

We use java and spring on the server-side, and Lucene as a full-text search engine. We use mongo to store the data, and the UI is built using React and Redux.

The application is deployed on-premise and on the Cloud, and we use a full CI process with a focus on security to ensure a good quality of delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all phases of the application development lifecycle;
• Design and implement back-end features and business logic, as well as creating and modifying the UI;
• Write well designed, efficient code compliant with existing framework and standards;
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions to agreed specifications and within agreed time scales;
• Understand the code-base of existing applications and suggest improvements, fix bugs, and add new features, as needed;
• Support continuous improvements by investigating alternatives and technologies.

Required Competencies/experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in computer science, engineering or an analytical field such as mathematics or Information systems;
• 2-3 years of related software development experience;
• Skilled in Software Engineering processes (requirements, development, validation, maintenance)
• Main mandatory languages and technology: core Java8 and Java Spring Boot Framework, ReactJS, Redux, MongoDB, Oracle
• Scrum Agile methodology
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Main behavior: Autonomy, commitment, action taking
• Good command of English, both written and spoken

Would Be a Plus:

• Educated in Security basics (OWASP)
• Knowledge of Lucene/ElasticSearch
• Other tools: Maven, NodeJS
• Deployment: Kubernetes, Docker
• Continuous Integration: Git, Jenkins, Sonarqube
