What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a JavaScript Developer to join our growing technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of the 8x8 engineering team involved in the analytics platform's re-architecture. Get the chance to work in a micro-frontend architecture, add new features, solve day-to-day problems and contribute to system-wide technical improvements. All this is in an agile-run project continuously deployed in Kubernetes clusters hosted in AWS and OCI.

What You’ll Do At 8x8

• Design and implement modular, testable, and efficient code that is reusable across products & teams
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Understand the functional requirements and ensure designs comply with specifications
• Ensure quality and maintain the performance of deployed solutions
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Cooperate with front-end engineers from various teams to share ideas, challenges, and technical solutions for different problems and to develop the company’s UI component library
  

What You Bring To The Team

• Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven and capable of working both independently and in a team
• Good JavaScript knowledge
• Good CSS and HTML knowledge
• Good experience with using RESTful APIs
  

Bonus Points For

• Knowledge of ReactJS library and its ecosystem
• Micro-frontends architecture knowledge and experience
• Tooling and project dependencies experience (NPM, Yarn, Webpack, Module Federation)
