certSIGN is looking for a new colleague to be part of a project which aim is to promote the user’s personal mobile device to the role of a unified authentication and authorization proxy towards the digital world.

The project adopts an incrementally deployable strategy in two complementary directions: extensibility in the type and nature of supported stakeholders and services (from local access control to online service access), as well as flexibility and extensibility in the set of supported authentication and access control techniques; from widely established and traditional ones to emerging authentication and authorization protocols as well as cryptographically advanced attribute-based access control approaches.

You need to have:

• University degree in a IT&T domain - mandatory
• Good programming skills: algorithms, data structures, communication protocols
• Knowledge of programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript
• Good programming skills using web technologies
• Good programming skills under the Android platform
• Detailed knowledge of the three-tier architecture
• Knowledge of the MVC architecture
• Good ability to analyze and design software products
• Knowledge of SQL language
• Good knowledge of the HTML, XML, XSLT standards
• UML knowledge.

Good to know:

• Cryptography and PKI;
• Security protocols, authentication and authorization;
• MIME, S/MIME, PKCS, OAuth standards.

Also, you need to:

• Be willing to travel abroad in European cities like Athens, Barcelona, Madrid etc.. Consider the fact that this is a international project and the majority of time (research and development) will take place abroad, probably 50%.
• Have advanced English knowledge and good communication skills so you can easily interact with the international team
• Possess good organizational skills – you’ll be your own project manager
• Take responsibilities like:

- Developing web applications using techologies like: Java/ Python/ Android/ REST API 

- Involvement design, development, analyzing and testing.
