We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our HYPER Accounting team!

Responsibilities:

Responsible for bookkeeping (invoices (domestic and foreign), bank statements, monthly accruals and foreign currency valuations, various bookings requested by the monthly closing procedure)
Performs month-end closing according to internal instructions, general ledger account analysis and Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Prepares and posts journal entries and performs related account reconciliations
Helps the senior accountant, to whom the role will be reporting to, in preparing financial information analysis on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Identifies, solves and/or escalates accounting issues to his/her supervisor
Interacts with other finance and accounting personnel, throughout the organization
Continuously improves closing processes and efficiency
Actively participates in general ledger change projects as required

Qualifications:

Finance/Accounting Degree
Junior Accounting previous experience - a must (minimum 1 year, higher experience represents an advantage)
Intermediate English is a MUST (written and spoken)
Previous experience with SAP (or similar ERP system) is an advantage
Analytical and problem solving skills
Good interpersonal skills and team player attitude
Proactive attitude
