Job purpose:

The purpose of the role is to support finance department and other support functions, in order to make bookings of accountancy documents. Acts as a guardian of the business, according with all internal procedures, having as scope to make bookings according internal rules and also following fiscal requirements according statutory laws.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Supplier invoices booking
  • Expenses report booking for all associates
  • Bank statement registration (customers collections, vendor payments, expense reports payments; etc.)  
  • Promotion set up and customer creation
  • Petty cash registration and reconciliation for cash collections  
  • Daily allowance situation for payroll
  • Archiving of the monthly mileages file, the invoices paid and the travel expenses reports
  • Keeping the relationship with the bank
  • Manages relation with customers in order to provide them information about overdue balances, detailed trial balances, method of qualitative and quantitative discounts given
  • Keeps a direct relation with Telesales, Sales Consultants, Customers and Warehouse staff
  • Fulfills the car millage file and keeps the track that all car’s millage sheet to be provided in time by associates who drive cars
  • 100% back-up for Credit Controller when needed
  • Responsible to provide to PWC auditors requested in line with his job
  • Performs periodic and monthly reconciliation of associates’ balanced of expense reports
  • Archiving all documents that were register and are received by finance department
  • Checks the compliance with internal procedure and validates new customer creation
  • Other and hoc request according company’s activity

 

General skills/experiences needed for the job:

  • University degree (preferably in accounting)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
  • Very good accounting knowledge (RAS)
  • Experience with NAVISION is a plus
  • Good knowledge of English (spoken/ written)
  • High-end PC skills (MS Excel)
  • Accountability and responsibility
