Junior financial analist

Overview

This role is to provide financial support to the Marionnaud business entities. The role will play a key supporting role in helping the entities finance team deliver accurate financial close, financial forecasting and decision support to the commercial and supply chain functions.

Responsibilities

• Preparing reports on the company's performance, monitoring the main KPIs and the evolution vs. last year and vs. budget
• Provide data analytics and transactional support to the Finance Business Areas;
• Assist in period end close duties including provisions calculation, accounts reconciliations.
• Provide analysis of stock, Capex, sales, expenses, cash flow and other to the business;
• Prepare key monthly reports to support key commercial or supply chain decision making.
• Offering support during budgets sessions and 5YP preparation, quarterly forecasts, quarterly reports
• Contributing to the definition of new reports or to the improvement of existing reports, in order to streamline daily activities and ensure data accuracy

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years similar work experience;
• Advanced English level;
• Ability to operate Excel documents of high complexity
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong planning & organizing skills
• Analytical and result oriented skills
