Position Summary - main task and responsibilities:

Collect, check, control and clarify financial data and information from the main locations in order to get data for further analysis

Prepares the monthly compilation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Group’s reporting requirements
-
Prepares periodic reports (mainly monthly) related to: Profit and Loss account by type of expenses, analysis of individual Balance Sheet accounts
-
Prepares monthly accounts reconciliations and analytical reviews to ensure overall data integrity and explain significant variances vs. prior month/year/budget
-
Participates at the preparation of various financial reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual)

Participates at the yearly budget files compilation
-
Participates in monitoring internal control procedures based on Group Policies
-
Provides support in preparing the documents required by the internal and external auditors and assures an adequate and efficient communication with them

Various ad-hoc, fun and exciting projects
Requirements:
-
University or Master Degree in Finance / Economics / Economical Engineering
-
English - Advanced skills for writing, reading and speaking
-
German or / and French - is a plus
-
Good knowledge in MS Office (mainly Excel and PowerPoint)

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and financial principles
-
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues

Ability to work both in a team and individually

Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment with tight deadlines
-
Preferred 1-3 years’ experience as a financial analyst in a multinational company or in financial audit. Exposure to international accounting like IFRS & US GAAP is appreciated
