Laser Welding Technician

Tasks:

• Provides support to team members / colleagues in issues related to the laser welding process, to ensure a good understanding of it;

• Optimizes tools and devices for series production;

• Checks laser welding process tool design and verifies that the tools for new projects are ok from ergonomic, safety and technical point of view;

• Produces first samples for new projects;

• Documents problems discovered during first samples production and proposes solutions for them;

• Offers support for new equipment start up;

• Proposes continuous improvements actions for the laser welding process;

• Creates process parameters sheets;

• Offers support for work instruction creation;

• Proposes, provides support and implements actions that lead to cost reductions;

• Tests new technologies and implements them in series production, evaluates processes, collects process-related data, analyzes them and proposes improvement actions;

• He has specialized knowledge related to the laser welding process, knows the principle of the process and he is a specialist in this field;

• Improves set-up time and brings SMED improvements;

• Verifies that the laser welding production process is carried out in accordance with the parameters and work instructions;

Must have:

Technical drawing knowledge;

Good knowledge of the laser welding process, operations and equipment ( 2+ years of experience );

Technical background (experience in a similar position); ERP knowledge (SAP - advantage);

Highly appreciated :

English - medium/advanced;

Technical studies (high school/ vocational school);

Knowledge of Office 365 package;

Robot programming and handling experience;

Others :

Ability to work under pressure;

Well organized person;
