YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Drafts, negotiates and supervises the conclusion of contracts (sales, acquisitions, rentals, leasing, sponsorships, consultancy, distribution, loans etc.)
• Provides legal advice on various matters, .: commercial law, competition law, civil law, administrative law, labor law, taxes;
• Provides support in compliance and data privacy specific topics. Drafting the company regulations, conducting trainings and internal investigations.
• Manages, creates, updates contract annexes and addenda, drafts termination notices;
• Drafts & reviews legal internal documents (POAs, management decisions etc);
• Works closely with all business divisions/departments in order to develop & implement commercial policies; Identifies legal & compliance risks in day-to-day business activity;
• Keeps the statutory documents of the company up to date;
• Revises commercial correspondence & notifications to public or private institutions;
• Represents the company in relation with public & private institutions and during the inspections from the authorities;
• Offers support for obtaining and maintaining valid authorizations for business activity;
• Liaises with external consultants and law firms;
• Performs legal research and follow-ups on legislative changes;
• Communicates relevant legislative changes to the concerned business departments
• Safeguards Bayer from risk of fines and loss of reputation by advising on all agreements;
WHO YOU ARE
• Full Law university degree;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience;
• Advanced knowledge of relevant regulations for Pharmaceutical area and competition law;
• Ability to proactively advise supported business on legal implications of business strategy;
• Good understanding of legal concepts and corporate processes;
• Advanced knowledge of the business concept and operational activities of area of responsibility and its associated legal risks;
• Solid time management, prioritization and organization skills;
• Ability to actively and constructively manage conflicts between business and legal concerns;
• Good analytic capability including the ability to identify root causes of issues and corrective actions;
• Strong negotiating, communication, influencing and problem solving skills;
• Demonstrated analytical decision making skills and creative thought process ability;
• Local language and fluent use of English as business language, including legal terminology.
