Legal Counsel

Job description:

• You will provide actionable advice on legal and business matters and serve as an important contributor for clients and colleagues;
• You will work collaboratively within and across legal and corporate functions by developing positive relationships with external counsels, customers, partners and authorities to advocate for Linde's interests;
• You will provide legal and strategic support for commercial negotiations, transactional contract drafting and stakeholder alignment across functional legal and business groups and coordinate litigation activity;
• You will have the chance to innovate and simplify processes within the Legal;
• From time to time you will enjoy diving into M&A transactions;
• You will be part of a great team of professionals, both in the Romanian organization and within the regional legal team which encourages its members to bring their best each day.

Qualifications:

• You have a Law degree and minimum 5 years of experience as an in-house counsel and/or certified attorney at a reputable law firm;
• Additional or preferred qualifications: experience in gas, chemical or related industry, 3+ years experience as an attorney specialized in commercial contract negotiations, preferably in a multinational company;
• Experience with public procurement (especially in Healthcare sector) and build, own and operate (BOO) transactions, Data Protection and labor law is a plus;
• You have an in-depth understanding of general contract law, data protection, labor law and you engage with colleagues to identify and share best practices; you have a solid understanding of legal principles and interpret legal information;
• You have a high level of personal integrity, you are highly motivated and solution-oriented;
• Other skills: business acumen, creativity (be able to develop and present creative arguments and opinions to support the organization or negotiate solutions), independence, determination and efficiency;
• Excellent written and spoken English is a must.
