Legal Counselor

QUALIFICATIONS

• Law degree (Master’s) and/or professional legal qualification obtained in Romania;
• 4-5 years of experience in a reputable law firm serving to multinationals and/ or a multinational company;
• Excellent command of written and spoken legal Romanian and English;
• Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, fast in action but with detailed planning;
• Strong communication skills, cross functional team worker;
• Has knowledge and experience in the fields of corporate law, commercial law and obligations law;
• Proficiency in MS Office applications;
• Able to communicate in multi-cultural business environment;
• Strong communication and negotiation skills;
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills;
• Ability to work with strict deadlines;
• Ability to work in a dynamic office environment and within flexible working hours;
• Have no obstacles to travel in and out of Romania.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Draft, review and negotiate various kinds of commercial contracts;
• Research and analyze the legislation on complex issues and write briefs;
• Conduct researches and assisting on draft legal opinions;
• Anticipate and mitigate potential legal risks;
• Coordinate external law firms;
• Review and evaluate commercial agreements, to join the contract negotiations;
• Follow up the new laws, regulations related to company’s major activities and to submit legal consultancy to the directors, managers and the other personnel in order to implement laws, regulations and by-laws;
• Represent company as an attorney at law before the Courts, governmental organizations, private institutions and individuals;
• Reporting to Legal Counsel in Turkey.
