Logistic Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Manages the activity of Shipping employees involved in the storage and shipment of finished products and materials;
• Conducts daily distribution activities, which include the reception and storage of materials;
• Maintains a sustained and efficient work pace of the team, to ensure a more productive and cost effective material flow;
• Plans the capacity of the warehouse for future requirements according to the business needs;
• Ensures that all components are received in a timely manner and in accordance with established procedures / policies;
• Maintains and constantly checks the management processes and keeps the related databases (reception, consumption and stocks of materials) under control;
• Ensure that the finished products are stored and packaged in accordance with the specifications;
• Ensures the accuracy of the inventory in the warehouse and effectively participates in the periodic control inventories. Solve all discrepancy issues (if any) within the competence;
• Optimizes transport costs and keeps the transport database under control;
• Keeps the connection with the carriers;
• Collaborates with the managers / employees of the different departments within the organization: Accounting, IT, Sales, Procurement, etc .;

 Requirements:

• Higher technical or economic studies
• 3 - 5 years experience in coordinating a warehouse, distribution or related fields;
• ERP system knowledge;
• Knowledge of the activities carried out within a Logistics / Materials / Supply department;
• 2 years experience in coordinating the transport of finished materials and products in a production company.
