Job description:
Serves as the primary customer contact for the assigned portfolio and ensures all customer needs and expectations are met for our premium products for carlines such as: Mercedes A & B class, Porsche Macan, Volvo, Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, VW and others.
Job responsibilites:
- Is the main interface between the plant and allocated customers for logistic related themes ensuring that the customer needs are met and the information flow is timely and accurate
- Ensures that the customer demand input is updated in the ERP system
- Generates a daily master production schedule (MPS) that takes into account the requirement for a lean approach to manufacturing and the various processes of production
- Generates a daily / weekly shipping plan and constantly monitors the evolution
- Reviews the MPS of the customer demands regularly with the material planning, operations and logistics planning functions to ensure the availability of the required resources: material, machine capacity, manpower, packaging and transportation
- Reviews the adherence to MPS on a daily basis with operational and logistics planning responsibles and escalates to the management team if any intervention is required
- Manages customer logistic related claims on the dedicated portals
- Manages delivery deadlines taking into account the sales orders and customer requests registerered in the ERP system
- Monitors the stock availability, validates and confirms orders and backorders to customers
- Coordinates the orders/shipments to ensure cost efficiency
- Constantly updates the documents related to customer orders
- Participates in stock-take (inventory checking) activities
Job requirements:
- University degree in economics or other relevant domanins for the position
- Minimum three years relevant experience in automotive customer service or in a similar position
- Complaint management knowledge: SAP, Scanview
- Advanced command of English language/intermediate level of German language is an advantage
- Computer literacy - MS Office (SAP is considered an advantage)
