Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management

- Serve as a key company representative in case of any legal inspection at the warehouse area such as, but not limited to labour, sanitary, customs or fiscal authorities

- Single point of contact for facility management company requirements and their approvals in terms of warehouse maintenance intervals handling

- Develop and maintain, in cooperation with 3rd party logistics provider, operational and cost-effective warehouse layout in order to support company sustainable growth via efficient future capacity requirements planning

Legal Compliance and Governance

- Ensures clarity and compliance of all obligations related to legal requirements (customs, labelling legislation, Green Tax, etc.)

- On-demand correspondence and legal documentation preparation as per obligations towards, but not limited to all authorities in order to secure proper compliance (labour, sanitary and veterinary documentation, ISO requirements…etc)

Lead and Manage the Logistics Team

- Lead, develop and supervise the work of company logistics department (specialists and demand planner) by acting as primary team contact ensuring effective definition and delivery of department objectives are met (. new product launch procedures, write-off's, products stock intake, monthly reports, labelling/copacking demands, international transportation, tax stamps & product declarations, stock intake)

Supply Chain Planning, Forecasting and S&OP

- Key supervisor, presence and leading support to S&OP coordinator maintaining effective S&OP cycles at a country level ensuring proper business sign-off and alignment with all included stakeholders

- Monitoring planning team effectiveness related to the demand, supply planning and stock management set against company standards and agreed inventory plans

- Ensure effective mechanism of inventory control including inventory coverage (days on hand), stock turn and minimizing stock write-off’s

3PL Management

- Supervision and continuous improvement of 3rd party logistics provider performance by ensuring contractual warehousing and distribution service level (KPI) deliverables such as deliveries on time in full, picking accuracy, reverse logistics, inventory accuracy, cycle counting

- Regular meetings with 3PL warehouse lead to review and analyze costing, while developing actionable plans for all warehouse activities improvement and gap prevention in order customer service standards are met

Logistics Management

- Act as a strong counterpart to ensure regular check, validation and sign-off all logistics department invoices

- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as sales, order management, accounting

- Undertaking a leading role at monitoring and adjusting key performance metrics to ensure that supply chain costs are within budget projections while building business relationships to improve overall supply chain flows and delivery schedules

- Annual overland transportation bidding process team member

- Project manager for B2B EDI integrations with KA customers (orders, delivery notes, goods received notes, invoices, E-archive) and primary contact between included stakeholders (Information systems department at PPD, external EDI providers and KA customers)

Reporting directly to Supply Chain Director CEE

Requirements

- University Degree

- Fluent English language

- 5+ years of proven working experience in the logistics industry as a logistic manager

- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedures and policy

- Additional certificates in the logistics industry is an advantage

- Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements is a plus

- Valid driving licence

- Ability to do occasional travelling
