Logistics manager

For its client, a multinational company with a plant in Aricestii Rahtivani, Gi Group is looking for an responsible Logistics Manager.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

·         Previous experience in Logistics or Supply chain Manager Position

·         Record of successful distribution and logistics management;

·         A proven record of effective management of people and resources, including planning and organizational skills;

·         Excellent analytical and problem - solving skills;

·         Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects;

·         Good written and spoken English is essential;

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

·         Accountable for running Finished Goods Warehouse in accordance with the company’s standards;

·         To ensure finished goods storage in accordance with set of handling rules;

·         To ensure that all export shipments are carried out in accordance with the law and following the company’s standards;

·         Supervision of all shipments towards Customers and warehouses of the company following group loading and quality standards;

·         Coordinate and foresee the needs in terms of personnel, equipment, warehouse space to run all warehousing operations (Inbound, Outbound, Picking, Put away, Shipping, Quality Checks, Repacking, etc);

·         Produce Warehousing Operations Yearly Budget;

·         Set of KPIs, reports that to supports warehousing operations;

·         Accountable for all Logistics economics (ACT vs BGT);

·         Continuous improvement approach: ensure stock quality, accuracy and optimization and deliver the best service levels at right cost.
