Malware Analyst

Your Future Role

• As a Malware Analyst, you will be part of our talented development team and contribute to developing security solutions aimed at preventing and stopping the most advanced cyber threats like ransomware, phishing and others attacks, based on DNS/IP/URL, Patching, Antivirus entries, Firewall logs and PAM data.
• We are looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas and knowledge from all different areas, such as distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, cross-platform software, UI design or the mobile industry.
• We need someone in our team with strong technical skills, who is also open-minded and a fast learner possesses strong leadership skills and is enthusiastic to tackle new challenges across the full-stack tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Reverse malware and help find new ways that our solutions can prevent and detect it
• Help feed our ML team with ideas to analyze and teach our systems with
• Help us internally improve the understanding of malware
• Be a part of the process to ensure that our products are continuously pushing the forefront of malware prevention
• Ensure Continuous Security within the development process
• Ensure that the development team members understand and fix reported issues
• Work with other internal teams to coordinate fast remediation of security vulnerabilities
• Monitor emerging information security threats and technologies
• Perform internal application security and penetration testing
• Review changes to ensure that they comply with Security Policies and StandardsDesired Qualifications• At least 3 years of experience in malware analysis
• Having very strong analytical skills to understand malware behaviour
• Having a solid security knowledge to understand the criticality of an alert
• Networking skills are a big plus
• Operating system knowledge (Windows is a must, Linux is a plus)
• Good scripting knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
