Market Development Representative – Bayer Crop Science (BCS_MDR)

The Market Development Representative implements the field-testing program including all operations - seeding, spraying, and harvesting (equipment related also).

He also collects visual data from the field, uploads in the internal database systems, being then able to provide product characteristics and advantages supported by these data.

// Execute MD field research program by

• identifying / selection of suitable trial locations, cooperators, lease agreements
• organizing seed logistic
• implementing the field program including all operations - seeding, spraying and harvest, equipment
• utilizing small replicated plots or field scale testing as required
• collecting data from the field, visuals
• managing data: data upload using internal database systems

// Develop and validate field protocols (for contractors, externals) including treatments, site assignments and data to be collected along with ensuring all materials (seed/chemistry) are supplied to the field investigator. 

// Reporting:

• prepare crop reports/geography - communicate to MDA for country consolidation
• data analysis: summaries as required to meet business

// Identify business need for technical information for the local geography – communicate to MDA

// Act as Technical Lead for the local geography by

• providing technical information on new products to MDA Team, Key Academics, and Licensees
• providing product characteristics, advantages, supported by data and visuals

// Claims management: assist CAR to difficult claims, according with the internal process

// Having a University degree (preferable in Agronomy)

// Solid agricultural knowledge and experience with main crops (cereals, corn, oilseed rape);

// Strong acumen in implementation of the field trials including all operations, seeding, spraying and harvest, as well as data collection is an important advantage

// Able to understand customer needs and design meaningful solutions and recommendations

// Able to communicate in a convincing, inspiring and engagement manner
