For our Global Procurement Center based in Cluj-Napoca we are looking for a:
Material Analyst
Their scope is to get the materials in stock, having regular calls with top vendors or/and ad-hoc when needed, to discuss and ensure the delivery on time. To enjoy this role, one must be naturally bold or ambitious, driven for results, analytic and creative, to come up with various solutions in a non-standard dynamic environment.
We’re counting on you to:
Material Availability Management
- Responsible to communicate delivery needs for procured parts (release of delivery schedule to suppliers)
- Responsible to monitor supplier deliveries and ensure availability of product to satisfy production requirements
- Responsible to perform proactive expediting and ensure Supplier confirms via SupplyOn (for Non-Onboarded Suppliers, fill in the ERP system with confirmed data)
- Responsible to perform expediting of Back Orders and ensure Supplier confirms via SupplyOn (for Non-Onboarded Suppliers, fill in the ERP system with confirmed data)
- Responsible to monitor and communicate material coverage status, including external logistic providers
Inventory Management
- Responsible for managing towards suppliers, actions to minimize inventory level, in terms of Material In Store (MIS) and Coverage In Days (CID)
- Responsible for reporting store inventory deviation
- Responsible for solving Goods Receipt issues
- Contribute to MIS reviews and identify opportunities for removing / reducing the level of obsolete /excess stock
Develop and get exposure
- The MA is an active member of the CM Network and works closely together with other Functions (. MM, OPS, Commercial Management) in order to assure Material availability on time and on required quality
- Develop professionalism by learning proper business practices, Procurement manual/computerized procedures and processes affecting the procurement functions, and developing working knowledge of commodities and products
Qualifications
About you
- Business, Economics Degree or similar
- 2 years of experience (in Procurement/Cash Collections or Finance) with technical and operational expertise
- Negotiation/Influencing skills, Problem solving and Analytical skills, Building partnership and Customer orientation, Process-oriented and Continuous Improvement mind-set, Technical abilities, Very Good Communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
