Material Planner (2 year contract)

Miele Tehnica is a subsidiary of Miele & Cie. KG, Germany. We produce electronic components for a wide range of Miele appliances, such as washing machines, tumble dryers, vacuum cleaners, ovens and other household appliances. The products Miele offers to its customers set the standards for durability, performance, ease of use, energy efficiency, design and service.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and monitoring the raw materials orders according to the production demand; 
• Maintains the relationship with the suppliers in order to ensure the on time delivery; 
• Manage the custom procedures for Non-EU countries;
• Organizes the transport (for raw materials & final products) according to quality and cost requirements; 
• Continuously monitors the raw materials stock, maintaining it at the minimum agreed level; 
• Maintains and updates the system parameters for all the components in his/her area of responsibility; 
• Provides support for the purchase of the non-productive goods according to the technical and quality requirements, within the agreed budget and deadlines; 
• Elaborates and prepares specific reports on a periodical basis and at request; 
• Monitoring and implementing technical changes in agreement with engineering and production planning.

 Requirements:

• University degree – technical or economical field; 
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the electrical / electronic field; 
• Experience in purchasing is a plus; 
• Very good command of English; 
• German language is an advantage; 
• Experience in using SAP or other ERP system; 
• Proactive attitude;
• Result oriented.
