The Material Planner will be responsible of:
- Sending Purchase orders, call off send forecast to suppliers
- Sending weekly or daily purchase orders (generated by business applications) to suppliers.
- Sending weekly forecast (generated by business applications) to suppliers.
- Secure order confirmation from suppliers.
- Receive information about suppliers’ stock level.
- Making suggestions to modify production plan if necessary.
- Keep the Managers, Demand Flow and Production planner updated about supply situation.
- Close open orders after agreement with supplier and Managers.
- Keep in contact with suppliers
- Weekly analyze of the component stock level and content.
- Analyze the safety stock levels.
- Take necessary actions to secure right level and mix according to Key Performance Indicators.
- Initiate use up of phase out or slow mover components or initiate scrapping (after Managers approval).
- Initiate stock reduction actions.
Other tasks related to assure component availability:
- Order and secure supply of spare part components.
- Maintain parameters in used business applications.
- Organize transportation for parts and necessary documentation.
- Create Engineering Concession Reports.
- Approve change messages, enter and follow up change dates to optimize stock use up.
- Follow up loss time and suggest actions.
- Solve wrong invoices from suppliers.
- Organize rework of components.
- Assure packaging material availability at suppliers.
- Other tasks related to Logistics activities.
- Execution of the tasks according to the documents of the Integrated Management System (IRE).
Experience:
- University degree
- ANC, PNC knowledge
- Knowledge in Production processes, supply chain
- Knowledge of used business applications Good communication skills
- Fluent English
- Computer skills
- Ability to work alone by instructions
