Based in Bucharest, Romania, AXL Advertising offers a full range of media buying services within the online gambling industry. What will you do

As a Media Buyer, you will be responsible for negotiating, purchasing and monitoring advertising space and airtime on behalf of our customers in the Online Betting industry. Your role will be to select the best platforms and websites to place ads in order to enhance exposure for their brand, bring in traffic and convert visitors into paying customers. You will be working closely with three other Media Buyers and reporting to the CMO.

Your daily activities will include:

• Identification of most suitable potential media vendors for the target audience

• Gathering information in terms of rates, avails, deadlines, and technical specifications for the ads placement

• Negotiating with media owners & ad networks for the best advertising deals

• Managing media purchasing agreements; generating, placing, and confirming orders with media vendors

• Managing and optimizing ad performance while ensuring that the ROI remains positive

• Monitoring market insights in terms of target behaviors, language differences, market trends, advertising trends, industry relations, etc.

• Establishing positive relationships with media vendors

What we are looking for

We are looking for motivation above all, more important than experience or seniority, so don't shy out if you feel like you do not tick all the boxes:

• Previous digital marketing experience, ideally within the iGaming industry

• Fluent written and spoken English, other languages are a plus

• Excellent communication skills (solid writer and strong speaker)

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills when dealing with media owners

• Experience in market analysis and competition analysis

• Analytical mind and exceptional ROI-tracking skills

• Ability to use standard office equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office

• “Can-do” personality, self-motivated and autonomous

• Understanding of performance channel metrics (CPM, CPC, CPL, CPI, CPA)

• You have outbound or direct marketing experience
