MEP Design Engineer/Proiectant instalatii

Responsibilities:

• Carry out discipline designs to required standards and quality;
• Coordinate with CAD Technicians concerning project requirements and timelines;
• Ensure that all designs are reviewed to the required standards;
• Prepare feasibility study reports to meet brief requirements in the agreed format and review with the leader;
• Work with client & design team to assemble a design specification compliant with the employer’s requirements, agree its format and content, and monitor and review its preparation ensuring delivery by the due date;
• Review and monitor the production of calculations including Quality Assurance, technical reviews and sign off;
• Co-ordinate project contracts documents (drawings and specifications) and reviews input from team members;

Supervision activities

• Inspection and monitoring of the progress of the Electrical Works/ HVAC Works as the designer’s representative, aiming to ensure the works are carried out at an appropriate quality, and are in accordance with the Designer’s specifications;
• Prepare progress and technical reports as required.

Knowledge

• Relevant Engineering degree (Bachelor degree in Building Services or similar);
• Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience of designing electrical systems or HVAC and/or plumbing systems in a variety of building types;
• Experience and proven ability to supervise projects and project team;
• Project experience should include participation from the design phase through the final construction close-out;
• Experience in detailed design of large and complex developments;
• Detailed technical knowledge of design capability;
• High proficiency of English reading, writing and speaking;
