Willy Naessens Industrial Buildings has been active in Romania since September 2019 and focused its activity on the construction of industrial buildings for logistics, production as well as retail, offices and car parks, supported by our own prefabricated concrete factory, Vanaton.

Willy Naessens Romania has a requirement for a MEP Project Manager to join our team in Roman. The ideal candidate will be an innovative collaborator and proven performer who enjoys working on teams that deliver superior results.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to directly manage the safety, quality and conformance of all MEP scope on the construction project
• Ensures appropriate design/ construction coordination is completed
• Oversee and coordinate activities leading up to and including balancing, commissioning and certification of MEP systems
• Manage close-out of MEP related systems and contracts
• Interview and assist with selection of sub-contractors for each project
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of MEP sub-contractors
• Conduct site walks to ensure work is progressing according to schedule, including schedule updates
• Obtain all MEP close out documentation, as built, etc.
• Produce the MEP part of the bids for new projects

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP Coordination
• Thorough knowledge of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sanitary systems
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail evidenced by a strong command of all applicable contract and legal provisions
• Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities between Willy Naessens Romania business needs, organisational issues and sound customer relations
• A strong sense of urgency and initiative. Able to quickly study and react to complex issues
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to confidently and decisively take action
• Team leader with excellent diplomatic and communication skills, able to handle and resolve conflicts effectively in a firm but fair manner
• Excellent business judgement demonstrated by consistently achieving profitability objectives and strong project close-outs with client and subcontractor relationships in good standing
• Last but not least, since this is a multinational working environment an excellent command of English is a must
