Main responsabilities
- Coordinates 4 production processes: welding, cataphoresis, metal forming and in the near future metal stamping;
- Coordinates, manages and monitors the production activity, but also ensures a good collaboration with maintenance, logistic, quality, engineering and other departments to support the plant objectives;
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions;
- Provide support in management reporting, information flow, organization itself and organizational planning;
- Prepare the yearly budget in terms of headcount, efficiency and costs and ensure monthly follow-up;
- Manages general operations management and ensures that customer requirements and product quality are met in time;
- Collaborates with other internal departments and external sources to solve problems that might be obstacles in achieving our operational value flow, mission and goals;
- Responsible for creating and managing the KPI`s of the subordinate departments and follow-up;
- Ensure product quality, improve production efficiency, reduce costs and ensure health and safety as well as customer satisfaction and infrastructure maintenance;
- Performs production audits and internal audits to support plans and activities undertaken to achieve the company's mission and objectives;
- Actively develops and promotes the action plan to ensure Excellence;
- Ensures that all employee receive adequate training at the workplace;
- Manage and drive operation value flows in order to sustain the achievement Plant Cost goals;
- Ensures operational management of the entire production flow;
- Analyze and anticipate the risks of production, maintenance and logistics
- Hire, dissolve contracts, handle labor discipline, evaluate performance and authorize overtime work for subordinates;
- Develop the capacities of the subordinates in order to fulfill the job requirements;
- Monitor the budget for direct and indirect employees;
- Train subordinates to follow Company’s policies with regard to environment, health and safety at work;
- Taking note of the standards and policies on health and safety at work, environmental protection and fire prevention;
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar position
- Experience in automotive industry is a big advantage
- Excellent English skills
- Degree or equivalent in an engineering or technical related subject
- Nice to have knowledge about seating production
- Proactive personality.
