Requirements:

Minimum 3 year experience on a similar position, preferable in the automotive field;
-
Engineering degree;
-
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and automation;
-
Knowledge of PFMA, FMEA tools (is an advantage);
-
Knowledge about robots programming (is an advantage);
-
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office;
-
Advanced level of English (spoken and written);
-
Available for trips: 20% of the time;
-
Dynamism and proactivity would be a great asset.
Main responsibilities:
-
Responsible of new industrial equipments definition , development and commissioning;
-
Participate to the assembly lines/stations pre-acceptance at the suppliers and to the acceptance performed in Valeo site;
-
Ensure standardization and flexibility of equipment being developed, taking into consideration specifics needs and local constraints (suppliers, products range, organization);
-
Develop new suppliers for standard equipments and validate new technologies;
-
Coach (or work with) methods project team members during design to manufacturing activities (manufacturability and design reviews), giving them technical guidance to be applied for product and process design in order to reach QCD targets;
-
Participate as technology specialist to industrial quotations and project design reviews. Also, is in charge on manufacturability checklist filling with PTM in their expertise field;

Participate to industrial weekly meeting and to weekly PL RAISE technical committee as industrial technical owner on his area of expertise;

Handle assembly line process evaluation and improvement;
-
Design, engineer, and procure assembly equipment for future programs;
-
Help maintain and re-engineer current assembly equipment;
-
Set-up the assembly equipment;
-
Define and optimize the layout of the assembly area;
-
Define and optimize the assembly lines production capacity;
-
Participate on the transfer of assembly production lines or products between the Valeo’s sites;
-
Provide support on the start-up of the lines/products after the transfer;
-
Provide support on the start-up of the lines/products after the transfer;
-
Participate in improving work activities through Improvement Proposals (PI).
