Monetization Specialist

Role in organization

The Monetization Speciaist assists the organization in driving the local strategy and implementation of monetization in OLX Group Romania. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical background, being able to take data-driven decisions in complex situations. The candidate should be able to adapt quickly to changes and work on multiple projects at the same time. The ideal candidate has a previous experience gained in consulting and/or e-commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Has ownership over local OLX Group monetization strategy and implementation
• Drives local monetization actions, covering analysis of new revenue streams, pricing of listing and promotional packages, and discounting offers;
• Works on growing the number of paying users and attracting new paying users to our platforms by leveraging pricing and discounting tools
• Works collaboratively with all departments and local OLX business manager to define and implement category strategies from a monetization perspective
• Coordinates all monetization related projects across cross-functional teams
• Implements changes in our offering and supervises go-to-market plans for new rollouts
