We are recruiting for our client, a global company with the headquarter in Germany, a National Sales Manager who will be located in Sibiu office. The company develops and produces sensors and controls for industrial automation and process applications.
The role of a National Sales Manager is to implement / control the company national sales and marketing strategy and work with regional sales or business area managers to ensure the sales force achieves set targets. The position requires solid experience in sales & technical knowledge, it requires also a sound of financial background, and involves extensive travel.
Main responsibilities are:
- In alignment with the company directive, establish sales goals by area, industries or customers;
- Global comprehensive understanding of the business (Products, Software and Services), features, benefits, functionality, pricing strategy, competitive advantage and weakness;
- Working with other relevant managers to develop the national sales strategy, defining and implementing a yearly Strategic Plan, seeking new business opportunities, market segments and future projects;
- Partially working also international with other managers of company's subsidiaries worldwide to achieve a stable growth;
- Leading a sales team that exhibits a world-class sales behavior in providing perspective, conscious collaboration and performance accountability to customers and inside the organization;
- Increase sales to OEMs, System Integrators, End-Users, developing new strategic accounts while motivating the sales team to achieve an annual sales growth in the double-digit range;
- Developing a budget, and regularly reporting the actual performance to the budget, with variance analyses and revised projections;
- Coordinating the gathering of market intelligence covering competitor products and sales strategies;
- Monitoring sales and expense on the performance, and initiating corrective actions where necessary;
- Recruiting, training, motivating and retention of sales staff;
- Together with the sales-channels, negotiating major deals and maintaining key customer contacts at senior levels;
- Coaching and developing sales team, leading by example.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Electronics/ Automatics and Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering/System Analyst (Software) or related technical degree or experience in the automation industry;
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in sales and industrial technology solutions;
- Understanding of the Romanian market;
- Skills in developing a growth strategy by analyzing reports and then implementing measures;
- Hands-on mentality;
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills and presentation skills in English;
- Experience with CRM systems, BI software or ERP software implementation are big advantages;
- Ability to travel all over Romania (occasional international trips might be needed); Driving licence is needed - B category;
- Knowledge of industrial processes, controllers, sensor technology and software are a big plus;
