Overview
As a NetSuite ERP Administrator, you will use, customize and administer the QS installation of NetSuite. You are enthusiastic about customer service, have a passion for improving the employee experience across the organization and will work closely with internal business teams to perform NetSuite customizations, resolve user issues, provide training and define processes. You will administer and configure NetSuite to maintain compliance with existing policies.
The ideal candidate must possess strong problem solving and analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to communicate effectively with other team members. The candidate must also demonstrate a commitment to quality as well as the ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Maintain proper system access for all users and roles
- Create and manage users, modify and create custom roles to manage relevant access levels and data security
- Publish dashboards for groups of users
- Use NetSuite customization tools to add fields, control views, and create new tables
- Create, assist and troubleshoot with reports and searches
- Import data and ensure data integrity in our NetSuite account
- Test upcoming NetSuite releases
- Provide training and use a ticketing system to support stakeholders
- Leverage and customize out-of-the-box NetSuite features to support stakeholder requirements across Finance, Operations, and Sales and work with NetSuite support or 3rd party agencies to plan and implement more complex enhancements
- Analyze processing issues and assess breakdowns to develop timely solutions
- Fully document existing and new customizations and workflows in the NetSuite knowledgebase
- Coordinate with NetSuite support on issues that cannot be resolved internally
- Export data from save searches, modify it as necessary and import back into NetSuite.
Longer-term projects and future developmental opportunities
- Expand NetSuite by taking advantage of SuiteApps
- Create comprehensive organization-wide NetSuite process and user guide documentation
- Drive longer-term enhancement projects by analyzing requirements, developing and maintaining reporting needs and collaborating across multiple departments such as Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Sales to develop effective solutions that result in process optimization and efficiency gains
- Maintain error-free configuration changes to fields, workflows, roles/permissions, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports and dashboards to meet evolving user, department, and organizational needs
- Ensure system compliance with company policies, procedures and protocols for system standards, customizations and changes
- Act as the lead & Subject Matter Experts for Netsuite support, administration and improvements
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience with NetSuite – training for the ERP system will be provided
- Strong quantitative mindset, ability to understand and analyze large data sets
- Strong Excel skills and use of other Microsoft Office products
- Understanding of accounting concepts
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize several tasks concurrently
- Experience reporting and analyzing data
- Project management experience
- Effective communication, documentation and training skills
- Attention to detail, ability to deliver on time
Preferred Skills/Education
- NetSuite experience preferred. Other ERP system experience such as Oracle or SAP will be considered
- Basic internet development such as HTML, XML or JavaScript preferred but not required.
