Miele Tehnica is a subsidiary of Miele & Cie. KG, Germany. We produce electronic components for a wide range of Miele appliances, such as washing machines, tumble dryers, vacuum cleaners, ovens and others. The products Miele offers to its customers set the standards for durability, performance, ease of use, energy efficiency, design and service products.

Digitization Miele requires ever-increasing computing power to support our specific processes worldwide and to connect our innovative products. We are looking for experienced network specialists for our global network team.

We are developing by establishing in Brasov IT Infrastructure Service Team to provide service for our Miele Group!

Network Administrator is a hands-on operational role with experience in Routing-, Switching-, Wi-Fi and Network Security components where your daily work includes analyzing global technical needs and requirements, implementing and designing of network infrastructure, high-end network technology integration and daily operations including deep dive troubleshooting.

Bringing your broad technical expertise, you will work closely with the local team as well as with global Network Operation teams in complex worldwide services and projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 2nd-level-support, operational management, root cause analysis of faults and improvement of the network infrastructure as part of a global acting infrastructure team with focus on internal customers
• Managing incident and change management according to existing processes
• Establishing of efficient reporting to the local team lead in HQ located in Germany
• Focusing on solutions according to the company policies, procedures and guidelines
• Managing Routing, Switching, Wi-Fi or Security technologies combined with corresponding protocols of vendors like Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Checkpoint and Palo Alto, …

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (in IT or related area) or alternatively equivalent qualification
• 2-5 years of working experience in Network Operations/troubleshooting with hands on Experience mainly on Juniper & Cisco products (Juniper EX/MX/SRX, Cisco ISR/ASR/Catalyst/Nexus) or Palo Alto and Checkpoint Firewalls
• Experience with Data Center and Campus networks within large enterprise networks
• Solid knowledge of networking concepts, practices, and process experience in Information Technology
• Detailed knowledge of the OSI model, routing (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, etc.) and switching protocols (LACP, STP, RSTP, …), capacity management, DNS, DHCP, Radius, network security controls and wireless technologies
• Experience on network monitoring, incident and change management processes as well as doing Root Cause Analysis for any of the above technologies
• A plus could be: Juniper JNCIA/JNCIP or Cisco CCNA/CCNP certificates, Knowledge of network security and firewalls, German language
• Team worker - able to obtain results in a dynamic international environment
• Self-driven and responsible person, high customer orientation and high degree of personal initiative and flexibility
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, very good spoken and written EIT nglish
• Flexibility to travel abroad from time to time and the willingness for continuous training on- and off-the-job
