Network Engineer

By joining Emerson as a Network Engineer you will have a meaningful role by undertaking project design, implementation, factory acceptance test phases and creation of documents developed for our customers within our project team according to agreed planning and functional requirements. The Engineer supports one or more Senior Engineers or Lead Engineers in the delivery of project related engineering tasks.

• Prepare Information Networks proposals for country sales offices
• Maintain database of proposal, projects and internal projects
• Support IN consultant on projects and proposals as required
• Conduct site surveys in a manufacturing environment to ensure client readiness for secure deployments; this will be in conjunction with local Sure Service teams
• Assist consultant in maintaining and improving existing processes to ensure that they are consistent with the latest developments.
• Maintain Cisco information database, parts and price lists so that countries have ready access to this data for European project access
• Standardize configuration for IN solution equipment by creating template configuration
• Maintain third party pricing and third party product documentation database for European project access.

This is what you need:

• Engineering degree, state-certified technician, completed vocational training or equivalent knowledge, Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering.
• Ideally have a Cisco CCNA or higher with a specialization
• Master knowledge of Microsoft office including Visio
• Knowledge of network infrastructure components and Information technology
• Some knowledge on Cyber Security and security features setup
• Some knowledge of database management, share point desirable but not mandatory
• The language needed is English
