Network Engineer

Azets is looking for a Network Engineer to join our Operations team in Timisoara. The virtual team which you will be part of is spanning across Norway and Romania, and the working language is English. You will be working in a dynamic team with other highly skilled professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for daily operations on Azets’ SD-WAN solution
• Ownership of monitoring solutions for the WAN area
• Project responsibilities on ongoing network projects
• Part of Azets’ security incident team

 Professional Requirements:

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 3 years experience or more related to networks
• Professional certification (CCNA or equivalent)
• Good understanding of TCP/IP
• Experience with routing and switching protocols
• PKI and encryption standards like SSL/TLS/IPSEC
• Network related applications like DNS, DHCP and HTTP
• Familiar with SD-WAN/Meraki
• Experience with security work
• Experience with log forensics
• Experience with web, mail and database connectivity

 Personal Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong collaborative skills
• High desire and ability to learn on the job and continue technical education in the networking field
• You enjoy change and like taking on new challenges
