Network Quality Engineer

Looking at your daily tasks:

• • Create and analyze network performance reports;
  • Set-up, calibration and utilization of drive-test hardware and related software products;
  • Post processing data of drive test measurements;
  • Establish and maintain GSM/UMTS/LTE performance metrics and their reporting;
  • Work with the RF Optimization Team to prioritize GSM/UMTS/LTE design and parameters changes in order to improve the performance of the network;
  • Develop/maintain scripts and queries to import and manipulate Key Performance Indicators results;
  • Present analysis, conclusions and results in a clear, understandable and valuable way;
  • Identifying opportunities for service improvement;

What are we looking at when we recruit?

• • Proficient knowledge of mobile communications and principles of GSM/UMTS/LTE;
  • Comprehensive grasp of Network Key Performance Indicators and measures used to assess service quality within GSM/UMTS/LTE network systems and subsystems;
  • Proficient knowledge of GIS related software;
  • Able to undertake analysis of telecom based problems;
  • Technical understanding of the GSM/UMTS/LTE system architecture;
  • Skilled and experience of using Microsoft SQL to analyze data;
  • Skilled and experience of GSM/UMTS/LTE RAN Performance Management Tools and processes;
  •  University degree in Telecommunications;
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken;
