NPM Purchasing Responsible for Facility Management

Overview: NPM Purchasing Responsible is the counterpart to outsourcing providers and actively manages commodity group as subject matter expert.

Key Activities:

• Define the global strategy for the Facility Management in all Huf locations
• Offer support for indirect material and services to operational buyers
• Develop the supplier portfolio to meet cost, quality and co-operation targets
• Manage contracts negotiating with supplier within defined category, including clarification of deliveries and service obligations
• Perform regularly commodity analyses in the allocated category
• Subject matter expert for selected commodity group
• Define the strategy and guidelines
• Perform price negotiations and monitor the savings in the allocated category
• Responsible for NPM supplier assessment
• Carry out request for quotations, bid analysis and supplier recommendations for NPM

Desired Profile:

• University degree (technical or economics)
• Experience in a similar position in automotive field
• Competent knowledge of commercial legislation
• Team player with an open minded attitude
• Self-efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks and projects
• Very good negotiations skills
• Strong communicator both written and verbal in English and native language (German knowledge is an advantage)
