Operational Buyer

We are one of the leading manufacturers of electronic and mechanical locking systems supplying the international automotive industry. Over 7,500 people are working in the Huf Group in companies in Europe, America and Asia. The turnover was more than 1,4 billion euros in 2018. The company was founded in 1908 in Velbert, Germany.

For our Production Plant in Arad we are looking for an Operational Buyer.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct purchase requisitions and transform PR in PO
• Execution of payment and booking notifications in coordination with the SQE
• Cooperation in invoice verification / coordination with customer
• Price monitoring, price system maintenance, price trend analysis and forecast
• First contact for escalations with Logistics in case the existing contract does not support or solve the escalation
• Externalization coordinator - Subcontracting operations (. preassemblies in small suppliers)
• Is part of the RFC team for series issues and initiates the request for change to the supplier
• Coordination of collecting product volume forecasts from Sales for last-time-buy of OES business
• Receive RFCs and involve the respective Purchasing functions in case of support needed

Skills and experience:

• University degree (technical or economics)
• At least 2 year experience on a similar position in automotive field
• Competent knowledge of commercial legislation
• Good knowledge of IATF 16949
• Very good PC knowledge (MS Office package)
• Very good knowledge of the English language (German knowledge is an advantage)
• Good communication and negotiations skills,  excellent team player
• Permanent residence in Arad
