Position Overview: The BPI Analyst role provides reporting support to business units. The Analyst will be responsible for regular analysis for both Billing and C&C teams within OTC organization and will act as a Subject Matter Expert for the OTC processes. The person will be involved and might also coordinate small improvement projects. The role requires independent initiative, ability to collect, organize and display data in spreadsheets format and in Business Intelligence platforms.

Main responsibilities:

 

Reporting:

  • Provide weekly and month end management and operational OTC reports 
  • Design business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the department.
  • Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
  • Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
  • Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
  • Create business reports that provide insight into key data points, some of them ad-hoc
  • Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
  • Creates impactful visual representations of analytic insights and concise summaries of methodology geared to audience needs

 

Process expert/ Subject Matter Expert:

  • Own the process documentation (make sure that it’s up to date, create where not existent, update during different projects)
  • Arrange brainstorming sessions with operations in order to find improvement ideas; with support from senior management, identify needs that can be successfully addressed by projects.
  • Identify defects in OTC processes, procedures, and tools and gather the necessary data to analyze in order to determine the ultimate root cause
  • Design solutions that will improve or correct defects in OTC processes, procedures, and tools.  This can include the utilization of various analytical tools to streamline/redesign a process or procedure, or documenting business requirements to reduce manual tasks

Projects:

  • Act as an SME and participate/ lead small improvement projects/ initiatives:
    • create project task list, assign owners and deadlines, align project plan with Sr. Project Manager and project stakeholders
    • monitor project progress- schedule meetings with involved parties in order to track progress, find risks, mitigations and escalate when needed
    • consult with the transformation lead to seek guidance and input during the key phases of each project
    • provide project updates to OTC team and key stakeholders
  • Support the Sr. Project Manage on large scale projects/ initiatives

Requirements

  • University Degree preferably in Business administration, Economics, or Computer Sciences
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in working with data / preparing reports / analytical background
  • Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
  • Improvement projects involvement, Lean Six Sigma certification would be a plus
  • Strong system experience and computing skills: Oracle, Microsoft Office, Business Objects Reports development, advanced Excel skills, Power BI, Power Query, VBA, Macros, database, MS Access, billing and C&C applications, etc.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Logical, structured thinking with a passion for changing things for the better
