Continental's Diagnostic & Services platform is the foundation for innovative connected services. The platform permits unified access to multi-brand vehicle data via various hardware options and targets a wide range of customers. It is fully integrated into Continental’s modular cloud approach for connected service solutions, providing customers with an end-to-end solution along the complete value chain of connected services. 

As Overall SW Architect, you will be responsible for the harmonization of the architecture and design of a complex solution in compliance with the Continental processes and guidelines. You will guide and oversee the implementation of multiple components ranging from embedded and mobile up to cloud solution.

Job description:

• Architect and design the data intelligence services that are meant to switch the focus from reactive maintenance to preventive maintenance having as goal “Zero Downtime”;
• Develop the robust, scalable, secure enterprise cloud environments, infrastructure and platforms using appropriate, state of the art technologies;
• Define tasks, scope and effort from user stories during backlog grooming;
• Assist with the setup and qualification of a team of developers responsible for the implementation of the chosen solutions.

Job requirements:

• University Degree (. Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics);
• Minimum of 8 years in similar engineering field including at least 2 years supporting cloud-based infrastructure;
• In-depth knowledge of key cloud technologies and data science;
• Kknowledge of mobile and embedded technologies;
• Experience working in agile teams;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
•  Fluent in English.

This enables and optimizes the control of the complex flow of information between the driver, passengers and the vehicle as well as mobile devices, other vehicles and the outside world.
