PHP Developer

We are currently recruiting skilled PHP Developers to join our business partner's team, a fast growing software company, with a passion for PHP and great code.  In this role, you'll have the opportunity to directly impact the evolution of the product by creating, optimizing, and extending features that bring knowledge and value to end-users.

Responsibilities

• Develop apps and websites of various complexity according to agreed specifications
• Design, implement and support multiple applications across various platforms
• Stay in-tune with the latest technologies; proactively identify areas for improvement and propose viable solutions
• Closely collaborate with other team members, and customers.
• Focus on code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar role
• Experience working with Symfony or Laravel PHP web framework
• Proficiency with MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Rest API
• Knowledge of Apache/Nginx and Unix/Linux
• Experience with RabbitMQ or Pub/Sub
• Logical, analytical, and conceptual thinking, with a general proactive attitude, oriented towards solving problems
• Ability to prioritize and work simultaneously on several requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field

Nice to have

• Experience with unit testing
• Knowledge of a Front-end framework (ReactJS / Angular / VueJS);
• Experience with containerization: Docker & Docker-Compose, Kubernetes
• Know-how of Google Cloud/ AWS/ Azure
