• Working independently or as part of a team, to design and develop Software solutions;
• Developing understanding of business processes and how it relates to data generated on the shop-floor;
• Visualization of data and analytics results;
• Analyzing complex data environments, comprising of multiple data sources and formats;
• Delivering insights to generate actionable recommendations;
• Documenting technical details of work;
• Gathering and processing raw data at scale (includes writing scripts, calling APIs, writing SQL queries etc).

  Essential Skills/Qualifications
• Expertise with programming / scripting languages (any of JAVA, C#, Python, C) and object oriented programming;
• Knowledge in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark), practical experience is a plus;
• Familiarity with mathematical statistics and analytical thinking (experience in excel or other analytical tools)
• Basic knowledge in agile approaches like SCRUM, KANBAN (is of advantage) ;
• experience with SQL/PL SQL;
• development experience in data preparation, data warehousing projects;
• Initiative and creativity, good communication skills;
• Advanced English – excellent English written and oral communication;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using initiative to anticipate needs in areas of responsibility;
• Critical and proactive thinker with capacity to quickly learn programming languages will be strongly considered;
• Positive attitude and joy in discovering and solving challenges.
