Plastic Injection Process Engineer

OVERVIEW: Plastic Injection Process Engineer is responsible for industrialization process for injection molding, implementation of new projects and optimization of plastic injection processes.

Key Activities:

• Implement new projects from the plastics injection process point of view
• Elaborate and monitor the necessary documents for the well-functioning of the plastic injection process
• Optimize the plastic injection processes
• Participate in new projects (product feasibility, mold design etc.)
• Participate in the development / implementation of new molds
• Plan and order the injection machines and equipment needed for the injection molding process
• Establish technical features for injection machines needed for purchase
• Plan the production capacity for injection molding machines and molds according to forecast

Desired Profile:

• University degree in technical field
• Minimum 2 year experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of technical drawing
• General knowledge about punches, molds and materials technology in the field of plastics injection
• Good knowledge of PC operating (Microsoft Office package)
• Team player with an open minded attitude
• Strong communicator both written and verbal in English
• Self-efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks and projects
