The Global Procurement Center (GPC) in Cluj is an organization combining procurement knowledge, cultural diversity and a drive for excellence. The team of almost 300 colleagues is working closely with overusers, throughout more than 20 countries where Bombardier operates.

PR Intelligence Tools Advisor

As a PR Intelligence Tools Advisor, you will ensure the effective performance for Procurement & Supply Chain within the region/countries assigned and the achievement of service delivery requirements by focusing on Operational Performance Management, Processes, Tools, Projects, and Management of Business Relationship. You will act as business partner to Procurement Heads of Region, Project Management Office, Global Commodity Management, Supplier Quality Assurance-Supplier Performance Management, Supply Chain and GPC counterparts. And you will also initiate and drive continuous improvement in relevant responsibilities using standard KPIs.

You will manage and supervise the day to day accuracy of the system usage processes and effectiveness performed by the system users. You will always keep a strong focus on system data quality, define and oversee system consistency checks, prioritizes and coordinates data corrections with the System Super Users team, offer support and ensure high level of knowledge within Procurement Supply Chain operational teams. You will also act as process specialist for all global initiatives or process deployments that involve the usage of tool.

The position will assure optimal functioning of the system (Incident Management, Release Updates and integration with Bombardier Transportation Information System landscape), manage implementation tasks (system configuration) and make sure that System changes are documented, are auditable and compliant with Global Governance processes, Works Council regulations and legal framework.

As the main interface of Procurement Supply Chain & Supplier Quality Assurance with the business on all system related topics the PR Intelligence Tools Advisor will work directly with Bombardier Senior Management, Procurement Supply Chain/GPC Leadership Team, Procurement Supply Chain/GPC Business Partners community, Line Managers and Employees in order to ensure the proper usage of the system in line with the standard Bombardier processes and business objectives. The position will design and maintain the Bombardier reporting suite in a manner that fulfils business needs and complies with legal/internal regulations, and will also need to manage business requests that are outside the standard scope ensuring that the compliance with the existing Procurement Supply Chain/ processes and policies is respected while the confidence of the business is maintained.

Your responsibilities

• Monitoring SharePoint software for any glitches or problems;
• Troubleshooting issues promptly;
• SharePoint development activities (create lists, workflows);
• Overseeing activity pertaining to the maintenance of SharePoint;
• Managing and revising the layout of the site;
• Customizing SharePoint site for company purposes;
• Analyzing daily user activity on SharePoint;
• Maintaining records of SharePoint updates, maintenance, and activity;
• Reporting to company management with updates and information about SharePoint use;
• Providing technical support for SharePoint users;
• Addressing questions or concern from business owners or directors regarding the function of the software;
• Keeping apprised of Microsoft updates to SharePoint software;
• Holding training and informational sessions to teach employees how to use SharePoint;
• Consulting with management to devise the most useful ways to apply SharePoint to a business’s goals;
• Creating users guides and training materials for SharePoint base created tools.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor Degree;
• Demonstrate specific knowledge of the function and makeup of Microsoft SharePoint;
• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows Servers;
• Understand Power BI and Power Apps to combine reporting and data gathering tools with SharePoint;
• Possess knowledge of best practices for maintaining SharePoint structure;
• Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Be able to handle confidential and sensitive company information responsibly;
• Possess ability to think creatively to devise customizations and uses for SharePoint;
• Communicate clearly and effectively, and also work well in a team.
• Be able to translate technical jargon into layman’s terms for explanatory purposes;
