The main missions are to:
In his/her field of expertise, and through either plant, program or generic processes, the Process Specialist will:
• Support processes development and improvement, and validate product innovations
• Ensure development and deployment of process standards, design checklist and guidelines, best practices
• Support programs, plants and suppliers for process issues
• Maintain a tooling and equipment database
Plant processes:
• Continuous improvement:
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tooling and equipment
• Trouble shooting:
- Support production or parts suppliers to solve problems related to his/her field of expertise
• Maintenance of series production:
- Engineering Change Management: Analyze, validate and implement process modifications related to his/her field of expertise
- Maintain a local database of tooling and equipment to support capacity management
• Standards and best practices:
- Ensure application of process standards
- Identify best practices for his/her expertise network
- Manage tooling and equipment reception
- Ensure that process standards are applied (plants and programs)
- Responsible for global networking
Your profile:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Proven technical skills on process and product, MIG MAG welding experience, Welding robots: welding programming / process
- Strong communication skills, ability to structure and capitalize know-how
- Networking capabilities
- International mindset
- English required
- MS Excel / MS Word / Power Point knowledge
