Process Engineer Forming and Rolling

Job Description

Goal:
Defines, maintains and improves continuously the aluminum tube cutting, forming and rolling process(metal processing).Looks for the new technologies and optimizes the forming and rolling process; Provides support in solving problems in the forming and rolling process.

Tasks:
Provides support to team members / colleagues in issues related to production processes, to ensure a good understanding of them;
Offers support for debugging machine and process related issues in serial production;
Optimizes tools, gauges, devices for serial production;
Evaluates and brings continuous improvements on production process;
Coordinates and supports PPAP sample production and facilitates the handover of new projects in serial production;
On-the-job training for trainers / technicians;
Participates in the pre-reception / reception of new equipment from suppliers;
Improves set-up time and brings SMED improvements;
Creates work instructions for the rolling ing process;
Provides support in the analysis of scrap and the establishes corrective actions together with the team;
Provides support in the creation of specifications for new machines, equipment and tools;
Makes feasibility analysis for new projects;

Job Requirements

Must :
Experience in an engineering position 3+ years;
Experience in metal processing 3+ years;
Technical higher education in mechanics , material resistance, plastic deformation, TCM;
Knowledge of production processes in the automotive industry (metal processing);

Highly appreciated:
Experience in plastic deformation of materials;
Experience in mechanical engineering;
Experience in material resistance;
Experience in tool design;

Other:
Organized person with good knowledge of Office 365 package;
Ability to work under pressure;
SAP knowledge;
English -advanced;
Knowledge of production processes in the automotive industry & experience in a similar position;
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills;
Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills;
