Process Engineer Project Team Member

Valeo Romania is looking for a Process Engineer PTM to join our team in Timisoara.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position, in the automotive field;

• Experience in time measurement and line balancing (is an advantage);

• Engineering degree;

• Knowledge of PFMA, FMEA tools (is an advantage);

• University degree (Mechanical or Electrical field);

• Knowledge of PFMA, FMEA tools, would be a plus;

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office;

• Advanced level of English (spoken & written);

• Dynamism and proactivity would be a great asset.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the industrialization process for new products, in line with cost, time and quality objectives;

• Responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of the product and manage team regarding industrial aspects (other PTM & Contributors, such as: Tooling, Buyer, Logistics …);                                                                                                                    
• Alert the managers when standards are not met;                                                                                                                                    

• Represent the industrial organisation of the project in internal or external meetings (for customers, suppliers);

• Define with the project team the process, in order to meet performance and cost targets;

• Ensure adequate interaction with the product development team to perform simultaneous engineering;                                    

• Organize pre-serial trials as part of ‘Serial production’ activity of progressively increased volumes, to achieve the Project’s targets;

• Responsible for follow-up with the Industrial Department for monitoring needs and capabilities of the processes;

• Create and manage the documentation for the products launch;

• Participate in improving work activities through Improvement Proposals (PI).
