Process Engineer

Job Description

The main goal of this position is to define, maintain and improve the laser process.

Tasks:

Optimizes tools, gauges, devices for serial production;
Evaluates and brings continuous improvements on production process;
Coordinates and supports execution sample (from 
Coordinates tests on new products: ex. new work steps, new process;
Tests products that could be the alternative to the current ones;
Participates in the taking over of new machine from suppliers;
Modifies machines in case of need, but with superior approval and EHS;
Develops innovative and "best practice" solutions, research new technologies and implement them in serial production; 
Improves set-up time and brings SMED improvements;
Provides support in the analysis of the previous day's scarp and the establishment of corrective actions;
Provides support in the production specifications for machines, equipment and tools;
Analyzes customer complains with the rest of the team;

Job Requirements

Necessary knowledge: 
SAP knowledge;
English;
Technical knowledge in Laser Welding;
Basic knowledge of production processes in the automotive industry;
Technical higher education;
