Job description:
- Review and assessment of purchase production requisitions to assure all criteria and requirements are included / addressed;
- Review requisition packages to determine the appropriate method of procurement;
- Determine the best method of procurement, considering urgency of need, nature of the items or services required, availability, extent of competitive interest, and procurement laws or regulations;
- Clarify procurement requirements and negotiate issues with vendors such as price reductions, modifying terms, or waiving penalties;
- Screen purchase requests and determine the method of purchase: existing contract, open market, Federal Supply Schedules, etc;
- Document procurement approach, selection procedures and contract administration activities at a level that stands up to scrutiny of an audit;
- Review specifications and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy;
- Prepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes) to suppliers, follow-up to assure understanding.
- Review quotes, analyze results and determine negotiation plans;
- Conduct formal negotiations with suppliers to achieve fair and reasonable results. If applicable perform supplier assessments with the program team to finalize supplier selection;
- Perform routine post-award management activities including PO acknowledgement, delivery status (upkeep PO notes), expedites, risk mitigation, receiving issues and invoice issues;

- Contract Administration;
- New supplier Set up.
Job requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage job responsibilities in a virtual environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and influential skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal internal customers.
- Negotiation skills (internal, across the businesses; external with suppliers) - ability to lead formal negotiations and teleconferences (price, schedule and supplier exceptions).
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills and ability to think strategically.
- Updates himself regularly with Company policies on Information Security Management System.
- Ensure subordinates are aware of Company policies, in particular those on Information Security.
- Ensure adherence to legal & regulatory requirements as applicable to the nature of work.
- Ensure Process adheres to legal & regulatory requirements as applicable to the nature of work.
- Ensure adherence to the Contractual Requirements of the Process/Function.
- Encourage all subordinates to Report Security Incidents.
- Ensure Compliance and Security Trainings for subordinates are conducted periodically.
- Cooperate with Compliance and Security officers with Security Investigations
- Monitor Compliance adherence and ensure a monthly review of status;
- Facilitate Regular Audits to detect any compliance or contractual breaches and encourage continuous improvements;
- Ensure Risk assessment is conducted for the process at the start of Operations and on any major change taking place;
- Review Risk Assessment document and implement mitigations strategies.
