BOA RBT is looking for a

Product Engineer

in Arad, Arad County, Romania

BOA is an international corporate group, headquartered in Stutensee and one of the top players for engineering, manufacturing and distribution of flexible metal decoupling and damping components, pipe and hose systems as well as expansion joints and accumulators for Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Applications.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a new member to join us.

Your tasks:

The position purpose and expectations are described as follow:

• Execute and support growth through development of innovative and efficient Products

• Develop products after analyzing customer requirements (Book of Requirement) and translate the needs into PAD (Product Application Definition) and PAV (Product & Application Validation)

We are looking for candidates able to fulfill the following major tasks:

• Support the harmonization of all essential engineering development practices
• Ensure Development of products according PAD and PAV
• Support innovative and efficient development of new Product Portfolio
• Support timely realization of product inception
• Track the product from the design phase to its launch in production
• Develops and optimizes components and provides specifications (frequently details of technical drawings) that meet current standards and customer requirements
• Support the ongoing projects giving the required information within the group engineering teams
• Support Business development with technical leadership at customers and on time quoting
• Ensure product innovation across regional engineering teams

Your qualification:

In order to be a successful candidate for this position, your competencies and experience should be:

• Bachelor in Engineering, Physics or related
• Experience in CAD, Catia and Solidworks, SAP
• Confident in verbal and written English, German is a great advantage
• Ability for understanding of complex technical processes
• Knowledge of concepts: dimensions, tolerances, reference systems
• A firm understanding of Regional Health, Safety and Environmental laws
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive field
• Strong self-initiative
• Proficiency in use of MS office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
• Availability to travel abroad for business trips
